Bell Helicopter Textron Canada Limited (BHTCL), located in Mirabel, is a division of Bell Helicopter Textron Inc. (BHTI), whose head office is located in Fort Worth, Texas. Bell Helicopter is a world leader in the manufacturing of commercial and military helicopters. More than half the helicopters flying over the globe are Bell helicopters.

BHTCL, the pride of the aerospace industry in Canada, constitutes one of the great industrial success stories to happen on the North shore of Montreal over the past twenty years. Its very qualified manpower enjoys global compensation among the highest in Quebec.

Inaugurated in 1986, the Mirabel plant has the exclusive mandate for the production of Bell Helicopter's commercial aircraft. It spreads out over 61,000 square meters and employs a young and dynamic manpower totalizing approximately 2,400 people. To date, it has built over 3,500 helicopters and its annual production averages 200 helicopters.
