As of mid-year 2007, the Bell 429 is on track for certification and meeting or exceeding expected performance parameters.

There are no plans to stop production of these models. Both the 206B3 and 206L4 are released for production through 2010, and each model has a substantial commercial backlog, indicating our customers' strong desire for the continuation of these products. In addition, the Army and Navy versions of the 206B3 continue to be the training helicopter of choice for those services.
With product demand remaining strong and consistent, production is planned to remain level for the next two to three years. Bell's Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP) process will continue to review and adjust future production plans based on capacity and market conditions.
