...Bell Helicopter Textron, Inc., Fort Worth, Texas, is being awarded a $137,422,138 firm-fixed-price, fixed-price-incentive fee contract for the fiscal year 2006 low rate initial production lot III procurement of 7 UH-1Y aircraft, 1 UH-1Y full flight simulator, and 4 composite maintenance trainers (Phase I) under the H-1 upgrade program. Work will be performed in Hurst, Texas (80 percent), and Amarillo, Texas (20 percent), and is expected to be completed in September 2008. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured.
