Introduction

 

The Small Business Office (SBO) is the primary point of contact for all prospective suppliers. These individuals are responsible for guiding small, disadvantaged and women-owned business suppliers to insure that a reasonable opportunity to participate in our procurement process is afforded pursuant to applicable Public Laws and Federal Acquisition regulations. In conjunction with Procurement, the SBO will assist prospective suppliers in the following areas:

  • Processing BHTI Supplier Capability Questionnaires;

  • Coordinating review of supplier information by cognizant buyer or end using department;

  • Coordinating site surveys, capability surveys and quality surveys;

  • Assisting suppliers in locating the correct buyer for their commodity or services.

We are anxious to establish a buyer / seller relationship that is lasting and inspires the confidence of both parties. Your first contact at Bell Helicopter should be with the SBO so that you may be extended the right opportunities to do business with Bell.
