Commodity teams will develop rationalization strategies to continuously improve the overall supply-base performance. Within the rationalization strategy, suppliers will be classified into three categories: Growth, Maintain, and Phase Out. Each category is defined as follows.
Financially stable, exhibits dependability through schedule adherence, exists as "Team Partner" for new and existing work.
Suppliers that do not meet the requirements from the supplier scorecard. The expectation is to develop this category to the level of growth.
Phase out level shows that it is not economically advantageous for Bell to continue with long-term plans. This can include any level of "Growth" requirements.
