The Bell Helicopter Training Academy in Fort Worth, Texas utilizes the latest innovations in training technology alongside dedicated airspace training facilities to provide a safe, unique learning environment. The use of 3-D rendered high-fidelity interactive graphics provides students with an authentic representation of each component, and the adoption of 3-D modeling of aircraft components and system assemblies enables improved training efficiency. Simulation and in-flight training is available for Bell 206B, Bell 206L, Bell 407 and Bell 429 series helicopters and Bell 412 series training can be performed on customer owned aircraft.
The Bell Helicopter Singapore Training Academy is approved by the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS), European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and Australian Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) to offer regulatory classes for maintenance theory and practical training on all current Bell Helicopter models and select legacy aircraft. Available courses include avionics maintenance, field maintenance and refresher courses, cable and connector training, and vibration monitoring system training.
Coming in 2016: In partnership with sister companies Textron Aviation and TRU Simulation + Training, Bell Helicopter is constructing a new training center in Valencia, Spain. The facility is designed to serve the training needs of regional customers, beginning with pilot training on the Bell 429. Training is conducted via a full flight simulator designed and produced by TRU Simulation + Training.
